Goodfella’s Doner Kebab Pizza wins an Anuga great taste awards 2017 – Europe’s largest & most prestigious trade food show and the product will feature in the show’s innovation showcase at this year’s event, which will see over 160,000 visitors attending over 5 days.
Launched in April 2017, the new ethnic pizza variant targets consumers, who love pizza but are looking for a new tasty twist, hence the launch of the new Donor Kebab stone baked thin pizza. The product is a fusion of flavours that combine the taste of a traditional pizza combined with flavours originating from the Middle East. The pizza uses our delicious freshly baked stone baked pizza base, layered with a zesty tomato sauce infused with spices, topped with mozzarella cheese, beef kebab slices, diced tomatoes and green peppers with a garlic drizzle & a harissa crumb.
The pizza appeals to habitual pizza consumers, who are looking for something new to add to one of their favourite foods. It is also Halal certified and exported to 6 countries in the Middle East. In February 2017, the product won an Innovation award at Gulfood’s the largest food show in the MENA region, which is featured prominently on pack.
